Who I am

Hello!  I'm Angela, an experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor with over thirteen years of dedication to helping students achieve their communication goals. I reside in the beautiful state of Texas and specialize in teaching intermediate to advanced levels of English and pronunciation. My academic journey began at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I studied speech/language pathology. This background equipped me with the skills to assist ESL students in refining their pronunciation and communication abilities, which I found incredibly rewarding.

After graduating, I eagerly began my career working with ESL students. My passion for teaching grew stronger with each passing year. However, I took a break from my professional career to focus on raising my son and daughter. Once they were older, I returned to the workforce, this time teaching English as a second language at a local college. I have always cherished the personal connections and interactive nature of the in-person classroom environment.

The onset of COVID-19 in 2020 presented a new challenge and opportunity as I transitioned to online teaching. This shift allowed me to explore and utilize various tools and technologies for distance learning. Although I am back in the classroom today, I recognize the growing need for flexible learning options. Many students cannot attend traditional in-person classes but still benefit from structured, self-paced tutorials coupled with guidance and support.

My current goal is to offer a comprehensive learning program that caters to busy students, enabling them to access lessons at their convenience, connect with like-minded learners, and receive coaching support. Additionally, I create educational content on YouTube and Instagram to reach students worldwide. If you're reading this, I hope to have the privilege of providing you with valuable tools and resources to help you achieve your communication goals.

As always,

Happy Learning!
