This course focuses on developing a native-like rhythm by mastering Word Stress patterns for multi-syllable words, and correctly differentiating between crucial, high-frequency consonant sounds. You will learn the accurate articulation for nine new consonants, including the nasal sounds (/m/, /n/, /ng/), the hissing sounds (/sh/, /zh/), and the combined sounds (/ch/, /j/). Most importantly, you will master the rules of Sentence Stress and Rhythm, learning to distinguish between Content and Function words to effectively highlight the most important information in your sentences, dramatically improving listener comprehension. This course includes video lessons, notes, digital worksheets, and targeted practice exercises to ensure immediate improvements in your clarity and confidence.
